Sunshine Coast Health Centre (https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/), a top-rated drug rehabilitation, alcohol treatment, and trauma / PTSD program in British Columbia and throughout Canada, is proud to announce enhancements to its admissions process as demand continues to increase for best-in-class services for drug rehabilitation, alcohol treatment, and in-house trauma / PTSD treatment.
“Admissions is a key part of the rehabilitation process, as, indeed, it is literally the first step,” explained Casey Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer. “By beefing up our admissions staff, we are adding resources that include better alumni and family support as part of the admissions process and we have added one additional employee.”
Persons who would like to know more about the admissions process can visit https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/our-short-process/. That page explains the step-by-step admissions process. That page explains that most clients can be admitted immediately, or if there is a waiting list, within one-to-two weeks. The first step is to fill out key paperwork explaining details of one’s situation. The second step is an evaluation of this paperwork, and the third step is to travel to the facility in Powell River, BC, Canada and to start the recovery process. The admissions staff is there along with the client every step of the way, making it as easy as possible. The goal is for clients to have a positive experience from the beginning, during the residential program, and afterwards as alumni and/or family members. As for getting to the Centre, it is located just south of Powell River on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. With ferry access from Vancouver Island and four daily flights from Vancouver, Powell River is easily accessible from cities throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. The location is spectacular and many clients have found the peace, quiet, and natural beauty of the location a key aspect of their recovery journey. ABOUT SUNSHINE COAST HEALTH CENTRE
Sunshine Coast Health Centre is a 47-bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility exclusively designed for men, officially opened on the 15th of March 2004. The Centre has a philosophy of care that goes beyond just addiction to include personal transformation based on three key therapeutic principles: interpersonal relatedness, self-definition (autonomy & competence), and intrinsic motivation. The Centre offers both drug rehabilitation and alcohol treatment near Vancouver, BC, but serves patients across Canada, particularly British Columbia and Alberta and cities such as Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer. Sunshine Coast Health Centre uses a form of drug rehabilitation based on the research of Viktor Frankl and the methodology of Paul T.P. Wong, namely ‘Meaning Centered Therapy’.
